Ken Wamwiri, MSN, FNP-C, is an experienced family nurse practitioner and lead clinician at Evergreen Medical Clinic, with branches in Arlington and Mesquite, Texas. Ken uses his extensive knowledge and expertise in combination with state-of-the-art technology to provide outstanding services for his patients, taking a holistic approach to each person’s care ensuring they achieve optimal outcomes.
Ken began his distinguished career after achieving a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, in 2003. He holds a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, graduating in 2008, and immediately began work as a registered nurse at The Methodist Hospital in Houston. His considerable experience since graduating includes roles across Texas as a case manager, acute hemodialysis nurse, and nurse manager.
In 2015, Ken graduated with a master’s degree in nursing from the College of Health Science at Walden University in Minneapolis and became a board-certified family nurse practitioner in 2016. The breadth of his experience in a variety of nursing roles has given Ken a deeper understanding of the patient experience. He focuses on making the patient experience at Evergreen Testosterone Clinic & Primary Care as comfortable as possible. Ken’s readiness to pray with his patients at the end of a consultation is a testament to his respect for the people in his care and commitment to all aspects of their health and well-being.
